Resident Head of the
Brussels Office

Spiros T. Voyadzis is the resident head of the Brussels Office and senior advisor to the CEO.

Previously, Mr. Voyadzis worked for 26 years at the World Bank. During that time he held senior management operational positions. He was in charge of the World Bank's operational cooperation with the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He served as the director of the World Bank's Brussels office. His expertise extends from economic policy, public sector management, to finance and private sector development.

Mr. Voyadzis, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Brussels with a master's degree in economics, political and social science.

Jaime Bernis, Senior DGI Consultant
Jaime, a civil engineer, specializes in the management of cooperation projects in the fields of infrastructure and engineering services, regional development, and trading.

Laura Danieliute, DGI Operations
Support Consultant

Laura started her career in the engineering consultancy company Ardanuy in Lithuania, and later worked at the company headquarters in Madrid. She has a degree in English.

María Inés Díaz, Senior DGI Consultant, Administrative Manager
María Inés works in the field of nongovernmental organizations cooperation and is in charge of real estate development. She holds a law degree.

Christilla Labranche, DGI Consultant, Administrative Support and
Communications Manager

Christilla’s first language is French, and she is fluent in English, Dutch, German, and Russian. She has a degree in translation from Russian and German to French.

Anna Lauridsen, DGI Consultant,
Operations Advisor

Anna assists in fund-raising and outreach, primarily to the EU institutions and other European organizations. Before joining DGI, Anna worked as a governance advisor to international NGOs in Vietnam and as a project manager for a Brussels-based consulting firm. Anna earned a master’s degree in political science from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in European affairs at Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis, Brussels. She also holds a certificate in Asian studies from Griffith University, Australia.

Hugo Ruiz de Taboada, Senior DGI Consultant
Hugo, a civil engineer with a master’s in business administration, is a senior consultant in private sector development, including privatization and industrial restructuring. He has extensive experience in Eastern European and Mediterranean countries.
