E-government Partners

Many developing countries are now introducing ICT to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and reach of public administration services. This is e-government.

Development Gateway Foundation works with leading donor organizations to identify demand, coordinate approaches, and support specific countries in their efforts.

Cooperation on Grants

To help guide our work and to assist in the implementation of our e-Government Grants Program, the following organizations take part in an e-government steering committee. They are also represented on Development Gateway Foundation’s board of directors, and they have co-funded specific projects with Development Gateway Foundation.

International eGe Task Force

Development Gateway Foundation is the convener of the e-Government Effectiveness (eGe) Inter-Agency Task Force, formed in late 2005 to harmonize e-government efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean. The group includes:

• Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLA)
• Inter-American Development Bank (IADB)
• Institute for Connectivity in the Americas (ICA)
• Organization of American States (OAS)
• The World Bank
• United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA)
